I agree

I felt it was a bit of an underrated film, personally, and had a lot of things to it that a fan of other historical and mythic action movies, such as myself, really enjoyed

However, as I also studied the original poem further, there are a couple aspects that actually would've been very fitting for the movie. Ah well ^^'

Same here! The cg was at its perfection and they did great of bringing the historical atmosphere and I felt I was back in time. Even if it did have hokey moments, it's still a beautiful creative film.

Yeah they could have more of the original story in to make it more epic. XP

Exactly.

And, yep. One of the biggest things, imo, that they should've put in was the battle that occured between Beowulf and Grendel's mother. Imo, can't go wrong with more epic fights
